I'M SHANNON THEK PRIER

Welcome to THEK art & design! My name is Shannon Thek Prier and I am a painter and designer that wants to help make your interiors the perfect space. I began painting at the age of two in my home town Scranton, Pennsylvania. In order to seek more inspiration, I then moved to the deserts of Arizona, beaches of Florida, islands of Hawaii, and glaciers of Alaska. In between some of these moves, I also spent time traveling around the world to Asia, Europe, and Africa absorbing scenery that compelled me to paint.

Returning back Florida, I exhibited my works at the Tampa Museum of Art, galleries, and other various events while receiving my BFA in Graphic Design with a focus on Mathematics as well as painting. Gathering inspiration from travels, art, and design, I bring you original, versatile design painted with various mediums perfect for your home, office, or business. Inspiration

I get my inspiration from all of life's patterns. Whether it be from water dripping down a window or a mathematical equation - patterns are everywhere!

Techniques

The main techniques that I make use of are painting with palette knife, gold leaf, or I design with numbers, a pen, and a ruler.
